One in a new series Landscape paintings, based on sketches of the North Downs near to my home. I love the exaggerated colours of autumn in this studio painting, giving it greater warmth and yet still maintaining a sense of depth and distance with the use of cooler blues, turquoise and violet for the distant hills.
