Painting on location in Cornwall - one of my favourite places to be!
I have always been drawn to big open spaces, especially seascapes and wide open landscapes of the North Downs near to my home. My work is focussed on capturing the light, space and feeling of each place I paint. Initial ideas usually come from sketching out in the landscape taking time to soak up the atmosphere and observe the changing light, before returning to my Studio to capture the essence of the experience in paint

I love working with people to create a commission. Everyone has a favourite beach or place in the landscape - perhaps even where you walk your dog.
